Matters of Body and Soul: Animals at the End of Life and Beyond
Sunday, October 19, 2014, 1:00-4:30 or 5:00 PM, at Brown Bag Farms, Petaluma, CA; $65
How can I best support my animal and myself as he nears his transition? What does he need? What do animals experience at dying and death? What happens after they die? Can I contact my animal after he leaves? Will my companion be coming back to me?
In this class, we’ll consider these questions and more to help you better understand and prepare for your animal’s transition. We will touch on the emotional, spiritual, and physical aspects of dying, death, and the Afterlife to help you create a loving and peaceful experience for you and your animal. We will also discuss caring for yourself after your beloved companion has passed. Bring your questions and a photograph or memento of a beloved animal of yours that is in spirit for an altar. If there is time, we will have a meditation to contact an animal friend that has transitioned.
